Hi! My name is Anna Watson. I currently work for Omaha Athletics as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. The primary sports I cover are men's soccer, softball, women's basketball, swim and dive, and women's tennis.

Before Omaha I worked at the University of Minnesota Duluth where I primarily covered men's hockey, football, and women's tennis. 

Prior to UMD I was a student at Northern Michigan University, where I majored in sports public relations and minored in biology and psychology. During my undergrad I worked three years in the NMU Athletic Department as an Athletic Operations and Communication Student Assistant. I have found a love for the game of hockey and my hope is to continue my career in sports with either a college or professional hockey team. 

I'm a very curious person who is always looking for new experiences and ways to learn new skills. I try to make the most of every opportunity given to me and use it as a way to grow as a person and professional and expand my background.

I believe in living a more sustainable life, where we empower women, mental health matters, Black Lives Matter, and love is love.
